The Reverend Ivor Thomas Rees is a retired Independent Minister and historian. During his schooldays in the Rhondda in the 1940s, he developed a consuming interest in the people who contest elections. This led him to research all elections held in Wales since 1885 and to chronicle each candidate. Since his retirement, Rev Thomas Rees has devoted much of his time to this work, resulting in the publication in 2005 of Welsh Hustings,1885-2004. |
